1. Meeting Called to Order At – Time: 1620hrs.

5. Brothers, Sisters and Guests Present:
Doug Lindsley, Gene Shrum, Bob Macaluso, Doug Johnson, Rick Alderman, Jeremy Davis

6. Reading of Minutes of Last Regular Lodge Meeting:
Motion: McCune: Accept minutes as written. Second: Copeland: Vote: Passed.

7. Report on Activities of the OLCI and FOP Lodge 149. Time: 1630hrs.

   A. Officers’ Reports:

        i. President’s Report:  Brian Licht’s  mother passed away.  Jerry Atnip National Secretary passed away. Negotiating team in place.  Chairman Jim Goodall from Department of  Taxation.  Associates training will be November 10,2004 in Columbus, across the street from the FOP office.  Need to add to associate list Gene Shrum, Mark Bryant. Discussion took place over possible dues increase.  Burr Oak full time interviews will take place in Columbus on 9/15/04.  Casasanta will handle the interviews 8 PTP applied for job.  Shawnee Michael Moore will fill full time position.

        ii. Vice President’s Report: Not present
 

        iii. Secretary’s Report: Talked about web site. Asked that information be sent to Jeremy Davis Park Officer at Hocking Hills for posting on web www.ohfop149.com  Web page discussion taken over by Davis.
 

        iv. Treasure’s Report:  Motion: Haines: Send flowers to Brian Licht’s mother’s funeral. Second: Copeland: Vote Passed. Account balance $1135.50.  Credit cards are at zero balance.

    B. Report of Trustees:

        i. District 1 Trustee:  Dannon Svab went pro boxing.  Discussion about paying for robe. More information will be provided by Copeland at the December meeting.

        ii. District 2 Trustee:  Not Present

        iii. District 3 Trustee:  Regional law enforcement is being discussed in the Lake Milton area.  Portage lakes incident was discussed.

        iv. District 4 Trustee:  Several Salt Fork discipline incidents were discussed.  Dwight Stamm is retiring in January.  Mark Shrader also retiring.

        v. District 5 Trustee:  Buck Creek pursuit incident discussed.

    C. Committee Reports:

        i. Grievance:  Met recently at FOP day.

        ii. Labor / Management & Health:  No Meeting

        iii. Negotiating Team:  President’s report

    D. Old Business:

    E. New Business:

            i.  Motion: Copeland, Give negotiating team room to work with dues increase up to a dollar a month Second: Alderman Vote Passed.

          ii.  Nominations for lodge officers term January 2005 to December 2006.
